Our Response to COVID-19
COVID-19 Store Update For Victoria
With the recent changes to the Victorian Government's response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Detail Central will comply with the new stage 4 restrictions for in-store retail. From 11:59 PM Wednesday 5th of August, Detail Central will cease in-store retail for 6 weeks.
Detail Central will still operate online to fulfil orders and respond to customer enquiries online or by phone from 9 AM - 5:30 PM Monday to Friday. Furthermore, we will continue to operate our warehouse processes in accordance with official health and safety advice and are monitoring the situation to ensure that our products remain safe for customers to order online and enjoy.

What you should know
COVID-19 or ‘Coronavirus’ is a respiratory virus that can cause mild to severe illness ranging from the common cold to the flu and pneumonia. As there is currently no known cure or vaccine, it is essential that you understand how to keep yourself safe and reduce the risk of the virus spreading further.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include:
- Dry cough
- Sore throat
- Difficulty breathing
If you are experiencing these symptoms and have recently come into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if you have returned home from an overseas trip in the past 2 weeks, please self-isolate immediately and call the National Coronavirus Helpline on 1800 020 080.
Coronavirus can be spread from person-to-person contact or by touching a contaminated surface or object before touching your face or mouth. To reduce your risk of contracting the virus, you should:
- Regularly wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.
- Practice social distancing by keeping 1.5m between you and anyone outside your household at all times.
- Stay at home except to complete essential activities, such as going grocery shopping or to the pharmacy, attending health-related appointments or caring for a dependent.
