Purchased for the application/removal of Miyabi and ISM with the intention of discarding when complete (the glass coating hardens and can leave small particles in the cloth). I found the short pile very effective at product removal and the rags themselves sufficiently soft. Little to complain about but i did notice a small amount of lint from one cloth after its first wash
