Infrared Curing – Envoke Pro Coat Plus Graphene Coating

For optimal curing results, use an infrared curing lamp after the coating has been levelled and inspected.

  • Lamp Distance: Position the infrared curing lamp 50 cm to 1 metre (approximately 18–36 inches) from the coated panel.
  • Curing Time: Heat each panel for 10–15 minutes.
  • Target Surface Temperature: Maintain a panel surface temperature of 50–60°C. Always measure the panel temperature, not the air temperature.
  • Lamp Position: Keep the curing lamp parallel to the panel surface to ensure even heat distribution across the entire coated area.
  • Important: Do not position the lamp closer than 50 cm, as excessive heat may damage plastics, trim, or paint components.

Infrared curing times and target temperatures may vary between ceramic coating manufacturers. The recommendations above apply specifically to Envoke Pro Coat Plus Graphene Coating.

Infrared curing accelerates the coating's initial curing process, allowing it to achieve a higher level of hardness before the vehicle leaves the workshop. While this significantly improves the initial cure, the coating will continue to fully cure over the following days, reaching its maximum performance and durability.
